Does the stop of support but hateful there's no more OS software updates making it a less safe telephone to utilize, or does this also hateful that the telephone's ability to log in into the Windows Live servers, which is needed almost for any functionality besides calling and texting, has been cancelled?
I'm non asking for Windows updates, I'g trying to sympathize the upshot with logging in with the Live ID.

All it means is that you lot no longer get updates information technology certainly does not mean it is , not safe, to use anymore and y'all should all the same be able to utilise your Microsoft account have you tried to reset it? If not turn it on then press and hold the book downwardly and the power buttons until information technology vibrates then release them and it will restart failing that try a hard reset,get to the about setting and tap reset see if either of the 2 quick fixes assist solve your problem rgds Roy

I've tried the reset (volume down and ability button) several times, as well as just switching it off and on again. The problem started later on doing a manufacturing plant reset. I've tried to redo the manufacturing plant reset a few times, but no modify.
Retried both just now, merely yet I get the time and date error when trying to log in.

Just reset my phone (Lumia 710 running vii.8OS) due to "low storage" alert.
At present I tin't login to windows live. And similar Microsoft know, without Windows Alive this phone is useless. Without the Market place I can do nothing.
You guys should try practice something na.

Without the Marketplace I tin can do zippo.
The Marketplace has been discontinued for at least a year now, if non longer, so with or without a Live ID yous however tin do cypher. Support for WP7 concluded in 2014, I would strongly recommend cut your losses and moving on.
